Thank you for joining me and being a part of the movement for fairness.

I'm sure I don't need to elaborate on how very expensive it is to propel

a campaign; I wish I could just wave a magic wand and necessary funds

would simply fall from the sky. But since that's not the case, I humbly ask

for your support and sincerely appreciate any amount you may provide.

Even if you can't spare any dollars, helping spread the word is equally,

if not more important. Please, email friends, and let them know that

they may post their concerns on the "Pubic Posts" message board. If you 

are able to volunteer your efforts, please call: (3233) 385-4646. Raising

money, no matter how large an amount, is futile if the citizens don't

choose balanced represntation. Please, let your voice be heard...Vote!

In compliance with state regulations, when mailing in your checks, along

with your name, address and optional phone number, please include your

occupation, and the name and address of your employer for all contributions

of, or in excess of $100.  If you have made past contributions and your

current contribution will put you over the $99.99 mark, then please

provide the aforementioned employment information.

To all of our many and dear residents of Monterey Park whom have become

Naturalized United States Citizens, I humbly extend to you my heartfelt joy

and good wishes. And although it may not mean too much to hear from

someone you have yet to meet, I'd like to say that I am very proud

of you; both for the obvious challenges you've faced and for the many

sacrifices you were likely to have endured in order to become a member

of this American Family.

                                                                                                                         My father, born in Greece, was a "son of a preacher man" whom like so many

others during the Great Depression, sailed to the New World in search of an

improved life with hopes for the betterment of future generations.

Whereas I can only imagine, I do indeed empathize with what he, his family

and your families may have have experienced in order to assimilate into the

American way of life and I therefore promise to serve each and every one of

you with the utmost in cheerful optimism, realistic decision making, honesty

and integrity.
